A white, tasteless powder analogous to aristoquinin, obtained by action of quinin on the hydrochlorate of eloxyphenylcarbamic acid; slightly soluble in water, soluble in alcohol, ether, benzene, chloroform, or acids. In whooping- cough, dose, foryourjg children, 1-2% gr. daily; older children, 3-5 gr.
