What is CASTANHA OIL?

is expressed from Brazil nuts, has a sp. gr. of 0918, a saponification value of 1935, and odine value 10622. It melts at 04 degrees C., is soluble in ether and carbon disulphide, is pale yellow in colour, and is used in soapmaking, in perfumery and as a food.
