Borneo Camphor; a substance that occurs in Dryobalanops camphora, a tree growing in Borneo and Sumatra. It is artificially prepared by acting with sodium upon the alcoholic solution of common camphor. It is quite like Japan camphor, and has a peculiar odor resembling that of peppermint.
