(as’-ap-rol), Ca(OH.C10H6SO3)2,3Aq. Calcium -J – naphthol – a -mono- sulphonate, a substance readily soluble in water and alcohol, and recommended as an antiseptic in 5 per cent, solution. It is also used in acute articular rheumatism in doses of from 15 to 60 grains.
